Beautiful place, we were upgraded the first room (green) was beautiful and the second room (white) exceptional , very good emplacement on center of old Town near the port. the perfect breakfast. The host Vangelis welcomed us very well, very attentive to our satisfaction I strongly recommend we come back without hésitation.

A more than warm welcome in a magnificent setting. The hotel is particularly well located and allows access to the old town, the port and all the shops within a few minutes walk. I loved the hotel itself, in a modernized former monastery that allows us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the old city. The rooms are magnificent, they mix comfort and modernity (we would dream of a similar bedding at home). The welcome is really exceptional, with the Cretan charm: from the care to park the car, the availability of the host and his (very good) recommendations, the smile and the benevolence, everything was perfect. In addition to that, the sanitary conditions following the COVID-19 are respected for a safe stay. I trully loved this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Madonna del Mare on our first trip to Chania in May. The location is superb (walking distance to restaurants on the harbor/museum/lighthouse, the rooms artistically designed with plaster/bricks and high ceiling wooden arches, the bathroom is extremely modern and impeccably clean, the breakfasts delicious, at one of the friendly local restaurants, and considering all this, the rates are reasonable. What sets this hotel apart however, is the kind, caring, prompt, and efficient service of the manager/concierge, Vangelis (sorry if I got the name incorrect). No matter what we asked of him, he was there in person to help with a smile. When we drove in, he directed us on WhatsApp and was on the street to greet us. This is a great hotel and we would definitely stay here again when we return to beautiful Chania. Date of stay: May 2021

Ambience, location, breakfast, staff

Fantastic hotel on the heart of old Chania and just a minute walk from shops and restaurants. Clean, modern, comfortable. Parking can be a challenge, but that’s to be expected when staying in an old city that wasn’t built for cars.

The pictures you see don't do this place enough justice – it's beautiful! The hotel is on one of the quieter streets so it's quite peaceful but it's also just about 2-3 minutes walk from everything so it's perfectly situated. Also, the city doesn't sleep so that's definitely something to look out for. The host was great and recommended all the great spots to visit, even highlighted them on a map for us...All in all, 15/10 experience. Definitely recommend ❤

Πολύ άνετο και εντυπωσιακό το δωμάτιο, ψηλοτάβανο, με σύγχρονο design. Το πρωινό που σερβίρεται σε ένα καφέ με θέα τον Φάρο είναι επίσης πάρα πολύ καλό. Ευγενέσταση η κοπέλα που ήρθε να μας ανοίξει και ο κύριος με τον οποίο μίλησα στο τηλέφωνο.
